Ladakh Standoff—Dialogue Pivotal To Resolve Issues

Dialogue is the only and best way to end the hostility and ensure bonhomie in any situation while the military action as witnessed in the past has only led to the devastation, killings, damage to the properties and left many people handicapped for the entire life.
Similarly, the consideration going on over ending the Ladakh border standoff through dialogue by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government is an appreciable move as the military action can never bring any solution to the differences and issues.
The present aggression between Russia and Ukraine is ample proof that the military action would never end the hostiles, but history stands testimony to the facts that the hostilities between the two nations came to an end only after the leadership sat on the table and discussed the issues.
As the incumbent regime in centre is looking forwards to resolve border issues with China through dialogue, it is ample proof that the intervention of the military has failed to bring a fruitful result.
The 15 rounds of high-level military talks between India and China have seemingly failed to reach any logical conclusion and thus the leadership intervention was taken into the consideration. The eastern Ladakh border standoff between the Indian and Chinese militaries erupted on May 5, 2020, following a violent clash in the Pangong lake area. Both sides gradually enhanced their deployment by rushing in tens of thousands of soldiers as well as heavy weaponry.
The present considerations have made it clear that India doesn’t want any military action and wants to ensure bonhomie with the neighboring country.
The dialogue is a must to end the hostile environment between the two nations and thus there is a dire need to take a final call in this regard at earliest so that the bonhomie is ensured and the Ladakh border standoff that continued for more than two years now will be resolved once for all.
The further delay in holding the talks can deteriorate the situation on the ground, which needs to be prevented at an earliest.
