The military aggression has always proven futile exercise and has never brought laurels to any nation, thus proving detrimental to peace and progress of the nations that remain indulged in the hostility. It is a well established fact that the military aggression would lead to devastation and only can play a role in bringing miseries to the people belonging to any caste, creed, religion and sect.
However, despite knowing the ramifications of the military aggression, there are countries that are still reluctant to follow the peace process to end the conflict. In one such instance, the statements coming to the fore through the leaders from the United States and China is giving an impression that the peace won’t prevail to create a sense of security among the people after witnessing volatile situations so far.
President Joe Biden has said the US would respond militarily to defend Taiwan if China tries to take it by force, which was repulsed by the Chinese leadership in just a few hours as the spokesman of Foreign Ministry Wang Wenbin has made clear that it was ready to defend its national interests over Taiwan.
Such statements are certainly a threat to peace and have the potential to deteriorate the situation on the ground and create a hostile relationship between the two nations.
There are several countries that are at present behaving aggressively with one another, raising an alarm all across the globe.
The million dollar question at this juncture remains that will peace be given a chance to prevail or the countries are out to devastate the world through the military action.
Already thousands civilians have been killed in the ongoing Russian aggression on Ukraine that continues for almost four months now, which should serve as an example that nothing can be achieved through aggressive behavior and means.
Therefore, the world has to think and ensure bonhomie to put an end to the aggressions that lead to the military action so that the peace will be given a chance to prevail.
